What we do

The board outside says it all.

MOT, servicing and brakes are the three words above our door. Behind it is a full workshop with two-post lifts, so work found at the test can be put right on site.

  • MOT testing

    A DVSA-authorised test station. Cars and vans in Class 4, motorbikes in Classes 1 and 2.

  • Servicing

    Fixed price servicing for cars and vans, done in our own workshop on Knutsford Road.

  • Brakes

    Brake checks and repairs, one of the three things on the sign above our door.

  • Exhausts

    Exhaust work carried out on site, on our own lifts.

  • Diesels and catalysts

    MOTs, servicing and repairs for diesel vehicles, catalysts included.

  • Diagnostics

    We upgraded our diagnostic equipment when we extended the building in 2023.

  • Repairs

    Something flagged at the MOT, or at another garage? We put it right in the workshop.

Class 1 covers motorbikes up to 200cc and Class 2 covers the rest. Not every garage tests bikes. We do.

Our story

Two family businesses, one roof.

Drive-In is run by the Bromley family, and the Bromley name has been on Knutsford Road for a long time. Our sister company, Bromley Tyres, traded from 492 Knutsford Road for 36 years.

In October 2023 we brought the two together in one building at 653. We spent 12 months extending Drive In to make the room, and at the same time we upgraded our service, MOT, diagnostic and tyre changing equipment.

The result is the grey building with the blue sign you'll see from the road, with everything under one roof.
